Wolf clan mask made by W. L (Cherokee). Carved wood with a tuft of fur between the ears and wood surface textured to simulate fur. There is a brown suede strap on either side rear to attach the mask to the face of the wearer. The Cherokee Seven Clans are a traditional social organization of Cherokee society and include: Blue, Long Hair, Bird, Paint, Deer, Wild Potato, and Wolf. This mask depicts a wolf of the Wolf Clan.
