Ward, publisher, after Joseph Hutchins Colton, cartographer: Mexico and Southwest America, with inset map of the Territory of Isthmus and Tehuantepec. The regions, cities, towns, et cetera, are clearly identified on the map, larger settlements marked with black round dot, i.e. "Jefferson" top right of map. Mexican borders, most regions, and most mountain ranges, colored, some texture, most borders, some regions, rivers, some mountain ranges, and bodies of water, not colored, some texture. Title and credit, bottom right of map, scale, right, inset map title, top left, scale below. Measurement marks surround black line and decorative border, directional notations in English, "Longitude West from Washington", bottom of map. "68.", in black, bottom right outside of map. Foxing spots scattered on surface and toning slightly around edges, roughly torn, across top.
