A map of the area surrounding Zurich in Switzerland, showing the course of the rivers Rhine, Aare, Reuss and Limmat to Coblenz in the northwest, from along the border with Germany in the north, southeast from Zurich, the Zurichsee and the Obersee, and the Zugersee in the south, with an inset of the Rhine as it runs through Sax in Switzerland on one side and Vaduz in Lichtenstein on the other. The title is within an elaborate allegorical cartouche upper left, the 36 crests of the cities of Switzerland in an heraldic Rococo cartouche upper right, and the scale and key lower right.
