Black and white map by Jacques-Nicolas Bellin: Southern African coastline from Cape Fria in Namibia to Cape Agulhas, and a profile of the Cape of Good Hope. Towns, regions, bays, et cetera, are clearly identified on the map, larger settlements marked with black minature structures, i.e. "Stellenbach" bottom right of map. All geographic elements, not colored, some texture. Three radiating line points, top and middle left and bottom right of map. Decorative black and white scroll title and credit cartouche, bottom left of map, three map keys, top middle to right of map. Longitude, latitude, and measurement marks surround black line border, directional notations in French on each side, "Longitude de l'Isle de Teneriffe", bottom left of map. Slight toning edges of map. Scattered spots and scuffs on surface of map. Map print on back of map.
