Object Name Coin
Description Seleucid (?) coin, bronze, drachm. Possibly minted during the Seleucid Empire, 312-63 B.C.E. Unidentified male head in profile, on obverse with no inscription. On reverse, a standing figure of Athena Nicephorus facing left hold Nike in her right hand and rests her left hand on a grounded shield with a spear propped against her arm. Greek (?) inscriptions surround her on left, right, and bottom. Coin has been modified with a silver band encircling outer rim and a loop at the top to form a pendant. Coin pendant is attached to a thin silver chain.
