Object Name Coin
Description Illyria-Dyrrachium coin from Apollonia, silver, AR drachm. Minted by Xenon, a moneyer (tresviri monetalis), and Filodamou, a magistrate, c. 235 B.C.E. A cow, right above a calf, left, an eagle above, and a hound right in exergum, faint dot border, right, on obverse with the inscription "XENON" below eagle. On reverse, a straight, double-stellate pattern with a single vertical device line, tadpole rays, triple dots, and a line border, surrounded by Greek (?) inscriptions.
Date range: c. 235 B.C.E.
