Map with colored elements by Jean Baptiste Bourguignon d'Anville: Egypt, Nile River valley and the Red Sea, from Aswan to the Delta. Filled with incredible detail including the location of emerald mines, ancient ruins, and caravan routes. The regions, cities, towns, et cetera, are clearly identified on the map, larger settlements marked with black dot with structures, i.e. "Assuan ou Suene" bottom middle of map. Egyptian border, colored, some texture, all other geographical elements, not colored, some texture. Title, credit, and eight scales, bottom left of map. Measurment marks surround black double line border. "P. 218. I." in black, top right outside of map. Foxing spots on surface of map, slight toning around edges of map, corner torn, top right of map.
