Object Name Statue
Description Chinese Sancai glazed earthenware model of a cockerel, Tang Dynasty (618-907 CE). Bird is molded and glazed in patterned blue, straw, and chestnut glazes from the head to the closed wings and short plumed tail feathers. The glaze falls in an uneven line across the unglazed lower body and irregularly-shaped base.
