Object Name Coin
Description Roman Republic coin, copper, AE as. Unknown minter, c. 187-155 B.C.E. Laureate head of Janus, on obverse with no inscription. On reverse, a ship prow faces right with the inscription "ROMA" (Too faded to discern) in the exergum. Reverse inscription based on Sear reference; images and inscription faded and difficult to decipher.

Date range: c. 187-155 B.C.E.

Reference: David Sear, "Roman Coins and Their Values" , London 2000 (Vol I), pgs 189-206 (Chapter on Post-Reform As). Because the coin is so heaviliy faded, I'm unable to discern which particular one it is. Therefore, I've given the page range that list the appraisal values.
