Three black and white maps by Robert Laurie, publisher, and James Whittle, publisher, after Johannes Van Keulen, cartographer: The Bay of Algoa on the South Coast of Africa. The settlements, regions, bodies of water, etc. are clearly identified on the map, larger settlements or significant Christian sites marks with structures, i.e. "Meyershoff" middle left of middle map. All geographical elements, not colored, some texture. Two compasses, three sets of radiating lines, middle of each map, "The Ship Marquette" bottom middle left of middle map. Each map labeled with title and credit, top middle or top left of map, and scale, top middle or bottom left of map. Each map surrounded by black line border. "37" in black ink, top right outside of map. Foxing, toning, water, and other damage scattered on surface and on edges of map, layer of paper peeled away, bottom right corner of map.
