Artist statement: Feature is a silkscreen print that references the Plan View Drawing of a Prehistoric Village from the Mississippian Period. This artwork borrows text from a listing of abbreviations within the legend of the document. I have reprinted the words: feature, burial, pit, stone pile, ash pile. I am interested in the imagery conjured by this text. For me, these words suggest evidence of transformation of site
